Telemedicine is defined as live video appointments with a licensed health professional, and is covered by most health plans we accept. This service is valuable to those who are home bound, or for any other reason that a patient may be unable to travel to one of our offices for an appointment.
We provide Telemedicine services through our state of the art electronic medical record. Our software uses encrypted point-to-point connections in compliance with HIPAA.
To check-in on the day of your appointment, sign into your patient portal account and select appointments. Then locate your appointment and click on the link below it that says "start live chat". This will open a live video connection between you and your Dietitian.
If you are using a desktop computer, please ensure you have a webcam and microphone enabled for your appointment.
